To start the company and to help jump start the human colonization effort  our first aim will be to develop the Multipurpose Habitation Module.  We see it as the best opportunity to help achieve a variety of tasks that are required to successfully complete a working module. Once the module is complete adapting it to suit other variations will be an easier task.

The development of the module will allow us to examine each step required to develop the module from design, construction, testing and finally to placement. Each step in the development cycle will allow the systems engineering of the module to be developed and improved upon for each cycle until a well established production line can be established.

Aim

The aim of the company is:

  • To develop a cost effective multipurpose habitation module that is more affordable by a factor of 40 of current available options.
  • To Develop a simplistic design that can accommodate many different functions and be easily adaptable to suit a variety of different missions .
  • To develop a self reliant multi-functional module that is fitted with all the required systems needed for the module to be used in off world environments such as the Moon and Mars in low gravity and atmospheric conditions.
  • To develop a module that is 100% operational at launch and requires no further assembly once placed in position.

Opportunity or Problem this will address

Opportunity and problems that we are aiming to solve in this development will be to:

  • Provides more options for a suitable habitation unit that can be used in off world environments. There are very few limited options currently available in the market. Our module will help to increase the competition.
  • Provides and opportunity for Clients to further improve their current portfolio and allow for more diverse service offering to their clients needs, as a one stop shop. I.e. a rocket launch company would be able to handles a client's transportation needs (Current Portfolio) as well as a Client's need to have an operating base at the required location to carry out its mission.
  • Provides an opportunity to make space exploration more affordable due to a simplistic multipurpose module design that can be out fitted to handle most exploration mission requirements. The more interested parties there are the more business can be generated, resulting in lower costs thus again increasing the available amount of customers and growing the space industry.

Advantages

The current advantages of the Multipurpose Habitation Module are the following:

  1. All Systems Integrated into the Module:  All the required systems required for the module to function as a single unit are integrated into a single module. Thus if the multipurpose module can be designed to work successfully then all the systems required for various other specific modules can be easily modified to suit various needs.
  2. Self Reliable:  The module does not require additional modules to be connected to function effectively and as such is completely self reliable.
  3. Scout Unit: The multipurpose module can be used a stand alone unit which can be placed in remote areas and used as a base of operation for long distance exploration missions.
  4. Initial Base: The multipurpose module can be used as the initial start of the base setup to provide all the required systems needed to function and be integrated into the larger base formation.
  5. Back-Up Unit:  The multipurpose module can function as the back up unit for the habitation base in the event of a failure of the habitation units.

Disadvantages

The current disadvantages of the Multipurpose Habitation Module are the following:

  1. Higher Costs: The multipurpose module would have a high cost per unit that all the other modules since it would required the integration of multiple systems into a single unit.
  2. Higher Complexity: The multipurpose module would have a higher complexity rating due to the higher number of systems that would need to be integrated into the system.
